When Justin Knopp started collecting printing machines the revival in letterpress was unheard of and he thought he was the last man standing. This was more a hobby, perhaps even an obsession. Now Justin's passion is his day job.
This film was selected for the Craft Council's Real to Reel Film Festival in 2017, screening first in London's West End, and then in the British Council and Crafts Council UK Pavilion at the 10th Cheongju Craft Biennale, in South Korea.
“Being filmed by the team from Cornucopia was a delight and the film they made demonstrated great sensitivity and awareness about my work. The film has been very well received and was selected for screening at the Crafts Council Reel to Reel festival earlier this year. I am not naturally comfortable being filmed to camera but I felt Beth and Ben were sensitive to this and their calm and friendly nature put me at ease so much that I actually enjoyed the process! ”
