Chef Peter Vaughan new star of Chef Challenge

Cornucopia are now in Post Production with two new Cooking programmes featuring Chef Peter Vaughan.
 
Peter is the owner and Chef of The Bistro in Devizes, Wiltshire and has worked with local schools for some time. In our programmes we go with Peter to Rowde Primary School to see him cook with some Year 5 pupils. They have a wonderful garden and he takes the produce and cooks a delicious vegetable soup with home made soda bread - decorated with onion rings from the Headteacher's prize winning giant onion!
 
In the second programme we visit the George Ward secondary school where the GCSE class go shopping with Peter to a local farm shop and a traditional grocer to source ingredients for a South American dish called a Puloa. They combine this with a Carribean Coleslaw. Absolutely delicious, as the students discover when the year 10 cooks take the Puloa out into the playground to let everyone have a taste.
